beorg doesn't support many of the more advanced features of Org mode, what it does support I believe is unlikely to change. (There isn't any code from Org mode included in beorg.) I haven't noticed anything which is causing any issues. If you've spotted something which is no longer working between beorg and Org mode let me know and I'll take a look.
