I use org as a markup language (instead of markdown) to write a lot of documents not related to tasks processing. Problem is, none of the existing text applications handles the org syntax natively. Having the possibility to open an org file for editing from the ‘files’ or the ‘Nextcloud’ app would be simple and super useful !

This may be something I'll look at in the future - I do need to review how files are handled as part of subdirectory support. One app I've used that you can get working with Org files is TextTastic - https://www.textasticapp.com. It can work with your own syntax stylesheets - and is purpose built for editing text and will likely be much better for doing that than beorg for the foreseeable future.
