It would be nice if the TODO pane had an option that would sort TODOs by priority. This is especially true when I've got TODOs from multiple files all being shown, but even within a single file, it would be nice to have all the high priority TODOs be at the top of the page, followed by next lower priority, etc.
My aim is to extend the current search implementation to allow users to specify order and grouping. This would allow you to do things such as show all high priority TODOs ordered by date and grouped into months - so you can see for each month what the high priority items are. More simply this would allow you to order by priority, etc. A default order and grouping for the TODO tab would then order by priority, date, etc and grouped by file to improve on the current view in that tab.
