beorg only starts searching when three or more characters have been entered. See this entry https://appsonthemove.freshdesk.com/a/forums/ for details on telling beorg to search using fewer characters. If you are still having issues after following this let me know.

Now in beorg we cannot search for Chinese/japanese/korean characters which will only return empty result. Hope for a little improvement here :)
